The Hook:

One thing I’ve always appreciated about Kennedy Ryan’s writing is her use of dynamic point of views. She isn't afraid to touch on heavy, difficult topics 

and does it in a way that feels completely intentional and necessary to the story. 

Why I Loved It:

The natural rekindling of Verity and Monk’s relationship in the present day was beautiful. It  never felt rushed, and watching their connection be rebuilt allowed their character development to unfold with incredible realism. It was an emotionally heavy, deeply immersive read that felt like sitting down and having a raw conversation with a close friend.
